Where do you find the bones?
I spend a lot of time in the countryside, whether walking up hills or going birdwatching at the seaside. I often find animal bones washed ashore, in ditches, in owl pellets, or by the sides of the roads. Sometimes friends find bones and send them to me, which is always lovely and appreciated.
No animal is ever harmed for my work. I absolutely love animals, but I also appreciate the beauty in death. My work is a way of giving the animals a second life where they can be appreciated for their intricate beauty.
